A native of Asheville, North Carolina, David Plyler has called Western North Carolina home for most of his life. David spent nearly 20 years working in the public sector both in Emergency Services and Law Enforcement. David’s desire to serve and help others drew him to the Real Estate industry, where he is ready to assist you in the search for your new home or help you sell your current property.
David became a licensed Real Estate Broker and began working full time in Real Estate in 2017. He closed on his first transaction in May of 2018, and went on to close over $5.2 million in sales volume in just 7 months!
In 2019, David joined Lusso Realty, LLC as an Associate Broker and his business exploded, closing just under $10 million in transactions and ranking as the top producing agent for Lusso Realty that year.
In 2020, he was featured as a “Rising Star” in the Asheville Real Producers magazine and formed “The Plyler Team at Lusso Realty” later that year – the first real estate team within Lusso Realty.
The Plyler Team at Lusso Realty currently has 3 full time agents, a marketing specialist and transaction coordinator. We are fully licensed & serving clients in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
David has since been featured in Manife Magazine and won the “Best of Asheville” gold award for Best Real Estate Broker in 2021 and 2022. The Plyler Team also picked up recognition winning silver for Best Real Estate Team and Lusso Realty winning gold for Best Real Estate Firm both years as well.
David attributes his success in Real Estate to his approach to the business:
“Real estate is a people business, not a property business,” says David. “You have to be able to connect with each client you work with, as they are all different, and you must be able to adapt and change with the business. Educate yourself about what can go wrong in a transaction and learn how to avoid it. If you don’t know, ask. Make good contacts that you can rely on. And always be honest.”
An avid outdoorsman, David enjoys many of the recreational activities that Asheville and the surrounding areas offer in abundance. During his down time, you may find David around Western NC hiking, fishing, or hunting with his pups (“Birdie” – a Brittany Spaniel and “Katy”, his Labrador Retriever). David Plyler lives in the Alexander area of Buncombe County with his wife Amanda, who owns a Baking School.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Mandy Delerme was brought up with strong values and a determined work ethic that has clearly shown throughout her career. A graduate of Penn State University with a BSBA in Marketing and International Business, she relocated to Raleigh, NC, and spent the early part of her career in sales helping clients enhance their company’s image and safety. In 2012, Mandy decided to move to Asheville, NC to pursue her passion for cooking and to obtain a degree from A-B Tech’s Culinary Arts Program. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she combined her culinary experience and love for serving others to open a personal chef business that served gourmet meals to weekly clients across WNC. Mandy prides herself in providing her clients with an exceptional level of customer service and professionalism.
After starting a family, Mandy transitioned into real estate by working from home as a Transaction Coordinator and Virtual Real Estate Assistant for busy agents. Her previous experience in sales and serving people made real estate an easy choice.
Mandy understands that real estate is far from just a business transaction.
“It’s not just a matter of signing paperwork. It’s about relationships. Buying or selling your home can be a stressful and overwhelming endeavor. This is where our team steps in. We want to make this easy and enjoyable for you. If we agree to work together, you will receive honesty and transparency, you will hear from me throughout every step of the process, and you will hear from me often.”
She finds that the very best way to help her clients is to fully understand their needs and do her best to take the stress out of buying or selling their home. Mandy’s natural empathy and loyalty drives her to listen, learn and advocate for you as a client. As a recent homebuyer and Transaction Coordinator, Mandy truly understands these crucial aspects and she would be honored to work with you on your next transaction!
Mandy has been working in the Real Estate industry for 2.5 years and became a licensed broker in 2020. She has been working alongside David since 2019 and is now excited to support The Plyler Team of Lusso Realty as the Team’s Transaction Coordinator.
When she’s not working, you will most likely find Mandy cooking up a storm in the kitchen, exploring the Asheville restaurant scene, or hiking around WNC with her husband and two children. Also an avid outdoorswoman, Mandy enjoys trout fishing and dove hunting with her husband and their Labrador Retriever Remi.

“A few years ago my husband and I found the home of our dreams. It wouldn’t have been possible without the professional guidance of our real estate broker, my brother-in-law, David Plyler. His knowledge and experience led us to the perfect property we now call “home”. I knew soon after this experience I wanted to be a part of his real estate team. My priority is providing you with the same professional and personal experience.
I look forward to creating a real estate relationship you can depend on and trust.”
She became a licensed real estate broker in 2020 and joined The Plyler Team of Lusso Realty bringing with her the dedication it takes to find the right mountain properties and homes for each of her clients.
As an avid gardener she enjoys landscaping around her home and growing her own food. She also enjoys reading and hiking the many trails of our beautiful mountains.
